Born in 1919 as "Fisher Body plant 37", New Center Stamping is a prime example of Detroit's manufacturing revitalization. Our strong heritage lives on in our modernized factory, along with the "can do" spirit that made Detroit the automotive capital of the world.
New Center Stamping is equipped with heavy tonnage cranes, 35 presses, complex assembly weld cells, robotic roller hemmers and modern process automation.
Skilled crews produce class "A" body panels, inner body components and complex welded assemblies.
Achieve excellence in the metal stamping and assembly industry regarding the fabrication of products exceeding all customer expectations, providing a highly desirable and safe place to work, generating outstanding returns for investors and exemplary community support.
The mission of New Center Stamping is to build upon it's long term commitment, stellar performance and responsive support of the metal stamping and assembly needs of the automotive industry. Further growth will be fueled by continual improvement in the efficiency of low volume Service Parts production, utilization of automation to provide low volume production support and diversification into non-automotive industrial sectors. The foundation of our competitive advantage is an experienced, talented, creative and highly motivated Detroit workforce focused on customer satisfaction, mutual respect and excellence in all we do.
